Undergraduate Scholarship Day

Today we will discuss some alternate scholarship opportunities you may qualify for to help with your graduate studies.  Graduate scholarships for single mothers are a bit harder to find since most scholarships for single mothers focus on four-year based degrees.  When we have to face situations like these, it’s not a terrible thought to look for financial help from scholarship sources that you may not have thought of before.

To start off, the Raise the Nation program provides financial aid to mothers who wish to improve their life and the life of their children through receiving higher education and becoming employable for well-paid jobs or constructing a successful career.  The Sunshine Lady offers scholarships to women who have been victims of domestic violence or women who have overcome drug addiction and abuse and have improved their lives since then.  The Soroptimist Women’s Opportunity Awards grants three women help that amounts to $10,000 to help pay their college education.

For Arkansas single mothers and fathers, the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship will grant an undisclosed amount to parents who reside in Arkansas.  Single parents in Oregon can apply for the Ford Opportunity program that awards fifty-two single parents with scholarship money to help with their education.

Scholarships4Moms offers a $10,000 scholarship for single mothers who need financial help while attending school. To qualify, you simply need to be at least 18 years of age. The registration form is quick and simple to complete. Go here to register now for the $10,000 scholarship giveaway. The drawing occurs about every two weeks so make sure to register soon so you won’t miss out.

Register now for your chance to win scholarships for single mothers and help pay off your educational costs.

Help answer the question about Under Graduate Scholarship

Is it possible to got school under Army ROTC Scholarship and then join the chaplain candidate program?
I am a senior in high school and applying for the Army ROTC 4 year scholarship. I plot on attending Azusa Pacific University and majoring in Youth Ministry. Then I hope to graduate and be commissioned as an officer and apply for the Chaplain Candidate Program. Is that possible? If so what are the chances that I get accepted into the Candidate Program?
