Brief introduction of the team leader:

Yang Ting, assistant professor of the Department of Earth and Space Sciences, Southern University of Science and Technology, doctoral tutor. In 2013, he received his Ph.D. from the University of Science and Technology of China, and later worked on geodynamics at the California Institute of Technology and the University of Melbourne, Australia. In December 2018, he returned to China to join the Southern University of Science and Technology. He has published many papers in internationally renowned journals such as EPSL and GRL. Research direction:

Geodynamics, mantle convection and hot columns, plate subduction, plate tectonics and lithospheric dynamics.

Recruitment requirements:

Due to the needs of the work, the research team recruited 2 post-doctors in the field of geodynamic research, with a two-year employment period.

Has obtained or will soon receive a Ph.D. in geophysical related fields; has a solid geophysical basis and computer programming skills; good reading and writing skills in English scientific papers; has published high-level research papers preferred; after full-time employment at Southern University of Science and Technology.

Post treatment:

1) Advanced research facilities and the world's top research level.

2) The annual salary is about RMB 330,000, including the annual living allowance of the Shenzhen Municipal Government of 180,000 yuan (tax exempt). Those with excellent conditions can apply for the Principal's Excellence Award Scheme, and the salary and benefits can reach 400,000 yuan.

3) Children can attend kindergartens of Southern University of Science and Technology and Experimental Primary School of Southern University of Science and Technology; they can enjoy welfare benefits such as savings, meal supplements, family planning rewards, high temperature subsidies, and free medical examinations.

4) The school provides 25,000 yuan of academic exchange support for each postdoc.

5) Can apply for the post-doctoral science fund, the National Natural Science Foundation, and provincial and municipal levels as the project leader during the term of employment.

6) According to the relevant regulations of the Shenzhen Municipal Government, the post-doctoral post-doctoral workers can apply for the 300,000 yuan research start-up funds in Shenzhen. Those who meet the requirements for being recognized as high-level talents in Shenzhen can receive a subsidy of RMB 1.6-200 million and a start-up fund of RMB 2-5 million (refer to the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security).
