Scholarship Details

No matter what program you choose, you will be guaranteed a minimum level of institutional financial support in the form of scholarships and/ or bursaries if you are entering directly from full-time secondary school studies, based on your application for admission and best six final and interim Grade 12 U/M level courses (or equivalent) available in May. Students entering directly from full-time secondary school who have achieved academic excellence are considered for automatic entrance scholarships.

We will review a student's scholarship offer when final grades are received at the end of June and if at that time a student's best six Grade 12 U or M course grades warrants an increase in the value of the scholarship(s) offered, the student will be notified. Please note that no scholarship offer will be adjusted downward based on final grades.

Students must be entering the Fall term as a full-time student. Winter start students are not considered unless planning to register as a full-time student in the Summer term immediately following Winter. Winter start students will need to contact the Student Awards & Financial Aid Office via email to award1@uwindsor.ca for eligibility inquiries.

University Description
The University dates to the founding of the Roman Catholic Assumption College in Windsor, Ontario in 1857.[7] Assumption College, a primarily theological institution, was founded by the Basilian Fathers of the priestly teaching Congregation of St. Basil, in 1857. The college grew steadily, expanding its curriculum and affiliating with several other colleges over the years
