The Highwater Foundation Scholarship for Student Veterans was established in 2017 by Stephen Hurlburt, President of the Highwater Foundation. He is a long-time Concordia University donor and a graduate of JMSB with a BComm ’71.

The purpose of the Highwater Foundation Scholarship for Student Veterans is to recognise and reward academic excellence in veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces, as well as those who are currently serving, who are enrolled in full-time studies at Concordia University. Open to students in Bachelor's programs in any discipline of study, in second year or higher.
